Redwater Cdp is a census designated place located in Leake County, Mississippi, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 409 inhabitants. It is the 69th smallest in terms of population. The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 10.34 sq mi (26.78 sq km ), of which, 10.32 square miles (26.73 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it Mississippi's 60th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 409 people, 125 households, and 95 families living in the census designated place. The population density was 39.6 people per square mile (15.29/kmē), it is the second least densely populated census designated place in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
