Red Bay City is a United States city located in the Franklin County, Alabama, United States. In 2000, city's population was 3374 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 3296, It is the 139th most populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.86 square miles (25.54 sq km), of which, 9.82 square miles (25.43 sq km) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 sq km) of it is water, making it the 134th largest by size in Alabama.
