Rantoul Village is a city located in Champaign County, Illinois, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 12857 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 12189, making it the 171st most populous in Illinois. The city has a total area of 7.35 miē (19.04 kmē), of which, 7.24 square miles (18.75 kmē) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 kmē) of it is water, making it the 127th largest by size in Illinois.

As of the census of 2000, there were 12857 residents, 5330 households, and 3367 families in the city. The population density was 1776.5 people per square mile (685.91/kmē), making its Illinois's 399th most densely populated city.
