Ranchester Town is one of the town of Sheridan County, Wyoming, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 701 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 798, giving it the 65th largest population among Wyoming. The town spans an area of 0.6 sq mi (1.55 sq km), it is the 32nd smallest in terms of geographical size.
