Ramseur Town is a town in the Randolph County, North Carolina, United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 1588 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1755, It is 301st most populous in North Carolina. The town comprises an area of 1.67 mi˛ (4.33 sq km), of which, 1.64 square miles (4.25 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 417th largest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.

In the town the population was spread out, with 26.3% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 27% from 25 to 44, 21.1% from 45 to 64, and 17.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 116.3 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 127.2 females. The median age was 36 years, the median age of male residents at 33.6 and the median age of female residents at 38.1. The racial makeup of the town was 80.67% White, 10.96% Black or African American, 0.25% American Indian, 0.69% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 2.39% from two or more races and 5.04% Other races.
