Ragland Town is one of the town of St. Clair County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of the town was 1918 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2136, making it the 196th most populous in Alabama. The town has a total area of 16.87 mi˛ (43.69 sq km), of which, 16.75 square miles (43.38 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, it is the 63rd largest in terms of geographical size.

The population density was 114.5 people per square mile (44.21/km˛), it would be the 69th least densely populated town in the U.S. state of Alabama.
