Racine County is a county located in the United States of Wisconsin. As of 2000 the population was 188831. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 199510, It is Wisconsin's fifth most populous county. Its area is just over 791.9 mi˛ (2051.01 square kilometre), of which, 333.1 square miles (862.73 square kilometre) of it is land and 458.81 square miles (1188.31 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 42nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in Wisconsin.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 188831 residents, 70819 households, and 49861 families in the county. The population density was 566.9 people per square mile (218.88/km˛), it is the third most populated county in terms of population density. There were 74718 housing units at an average density of 224.3 per square mile (86.6/km˛). The average household size was 2.59 persons, and the average family size was 3.09 persons. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 27% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 22.5% from 45 to 64, and 12.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 98 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.5 males. In July 2008, its estimated population was 199510, The racial makeup of the county was 86.61% White, 10.6% Black or African American, 0.48% American Indian, 0.85% Asian, 0.05% Native Hawaiian, and 1.4% from two or more races.
