Quitman City is a city in the Brooks County, Georgia, United States. As of 2000 the population was 4638. The July 2008 population estimate is 4621, It is 140th most populous in Georgia. It covers total area of 3.85 mi˛ (9.97 square kilometre), of which, 3.83 square miles (9.92 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Georgia's 214th largest by total area.
