Quincy City is a city in the Gadsden County, Florida, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Quincy City is home to 6982 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 6858, It is the 343rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Florida. It covers total area of 7.63 square miles (19.76 square kilometre), of which, 7.62 square miles (19.74 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 235th largest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.

As of the census of 2000, there were 6982 people, 2657 households, and 1832 families residing in the city.
