Quasqueton City is a city located in the Buchanan County, Iowa, United States. The population of the city was 574 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 546, making it Iowa's 439th largest. Its area is just over 1.18 sq mi (3.06 sq km), of which, 1.15 square miles (2.98 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 302nd largest by total area among Iowa.

As of the census of 2000, there were 574 residents, 227 households, and 167 families in the city. The population density was 501 people per square mile (193.44/kmē), it is the 299th least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Iowa.
