Purcell City is a one of the Cleveland and McClain counties, Oklahoma, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 5571. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 6129, It is 60th most populous in Oklahoma. It has total area of 10.38 mi˛ (26.88 square kilometre), of which, 9.95 square miles (25.77 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.44 square miles (1.14 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 105th largest by total area in Oklahoma.
