Pulaski County, Indiana is a county of the United States of Indiana. As of 2000 the population was 13755. Its population was estimated at 13712 in July 2008, giving it the tenth smallest population among Indiana's county. It is spread over 434.57 miē (1125.53 kmē), of which, 433.68 square miles (1123.23 kmē ) of it is land and 0.89 square miles (2.31 kmē) of it is water, it is the 28th largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.


As of the census of 2000, there were 13755 people in the county, organized into 5170 households, and 3780 families living in the county. The population density was 31.7 people per square mile (12.24/kmē), it is the fourth least populated county in terms of population density. There were 5918 housing units at an average density of 13.6 per square mile (5.25/kmē). The average household size was 2.59 and the average family size was 3.06. In the county Age distribution was 26.9% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 23% from 45 to 64, and 15.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 101.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.7 males. Its population was estimated at 13712 in July 2008, The racial makeup of the county was 13327 White, 192 Black or African American, 31 American Indian, 56 Asian, 6 Native Hawaiian, and 100 from two or more races.
