Princeton City is a city located in Mercer County, Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1047 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 951, It is Missouri's 349th largest by population . The city extends throughout a territory of 1.6 sq mi (4.14 sq km ), of which, 1.59 square miles (4.12 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, making it the 296th largest by size in Missouri.
