Prescott City is one of the city of Yavapai County, Arizona, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 33938 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 42697, It is Arizona's 18th largest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 37.31 miē (96.63 kmē), of which, 37.07 square miles (96.01 kmē) of it is land and 0.24 square miles (0.62 kmē) of it is water, it is the 40th largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks ninth in the size of its inland waterways in Arizona.
