Prattville City is a city located in the Autauga and Elmore counties, Alabama, United States. It is home to over 24303 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 32480, It is the 18th most populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. It covers total area of 23.91 square miles (61.93 square kilometre), of which, 23.17 square miles (60.01 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.74 square miles (1.92 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Alabama's 37th largest by total area.
