Pratt County is a county in the United States of Kansas. In 2000, county's population was 9647 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 9411, making it the 45th most populous county in Kansas. Its area is just over 735.76 square miles (1905.61 sq km), of which, 734.99 square miles (1903.62 sq km) of it is land and 0.76 square miles (1.97 sq km) of it is water, making it the 52nd largest by size in Kansas.

In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 24.5% under the age of 18, 9.4% from 18 to 24, 24% from 25 to 44, 22.8% from 45 to 64, and 19.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.3 males. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 9411, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 9097 White, 106 Black or African American, 47 American Indian, 52 Asian, 3 Native Hawaiian, and 106 from two or more races.
