Prairie Village City is a city located in Johnson County, Kansas, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 22072 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 21479, It is the 17th most populous in the U.S. state of Kansas. The city comprises an area of 6.22 square miles (16.11 kmē), it is the 38th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.
