Prairie City City is one of the city of Grant County, Oregon, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 1080 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 899, making it Oregon's 183rd largest. The city spans an area of 0.95 sq mi (2.46 sq km), it is the 199th largest by area in the U.S. state of Oregon.
