Poynette Village is a one of the Columbia County, Wisconsin, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 2266 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 2549, It is the 218th most populous in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is spread over 2.42 mi˛ (6.27 sq km), of which, 2.41 square miles (6.24 sq km ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, making it Wisconsin's 276th largest by total area.
