Pottawatomie County is one of the 77 county of Oklahoma, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The county has a population of 65521 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 69616, It is tenth most populous county in Oklahoma. The county spans an area of 793.26 square miles (2054.53 square kilometre), of which, 787.7 square miles (2040.13 square kilometre) of it is land and 5.57 square miles (14.43 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Oklahoma's 42nd largest county by total area.
