Potsdam Village is a United States city located in the St. Lawrence County, New York, United States. Potsdam Village had an official population of 9425 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 9841, giving it the 200th largest population among New York. The city has a total area of 4.85 mi˛ (12.56 sq km), of which, 4.39 square miles (11.37 sq km) of it is land and 0.46 square miles (1.19 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 209th largest by total area among New York.
