Poteet City is a city located in Atascosa County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Poteet City is home to 3305 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 3640, It is 463rd most populous in Texas.
