Post Falls City, Idaho is a city of the Kootenai County, Idaho, United States. It is home to over 17247 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 26460, giving it the 12th largest population among Idaho. Its area is just over 9.7 miē (25.12 kmē), of which, 9.66 square miles (25.02 kmē) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 kmē) of it is water, making it Idaho's 15th largest by total area. It is ranks 20 in the size of its inland waterways in Idaho.
