Portland City is a city in the Ashley County, Arkansas, United States. As of 2000 the population was 552. Its population was estimated at 506 in July 2008, It is the 278th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 1.08 sq mi (2.8 square kilometre), it is the 347th largest by area in the U.S. state of Arkansas.
