Portage Village is a city located in Wood County, Ohio, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 428. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 430, It is the 233rd smallest in terms of population. It has total area of 1.5 sq mi (3.88 kmē), making it Ohio's 488th largest by total area.
