Port Wentworth City is a city in the Chatham County, Georgia, United States. Port Wentworth City had an official population of 3276 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 4560, It is Georgia's 186th largest by population . The city comprises an area of 16.48 mi˛ (42.68 square kilometre), of which, 16.45 square miles (42.61 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 40th largest by total area in Georgia.
