Port Royal Town is a United States town located in the Beaufort County, South Carolina, United States. The population of the town was 3950 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 11064, It is the 104th largest by population in the U.S. state of South Carolina. The town comprises an area of 5.17 square miles (13.39 sq km), of which, 3.88 square miles (10.05 sq km) of it is land and 1.29 square miles (3.34 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 101st largest by total area among South Carolina. It is ranks 15 in the size of its inland waterways in South Carolina.
