Port Lions City is a city located in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska, in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 256 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 232 in July 2008, It is the 167th largest by population in the U.S. state of Alaska. The city spans an area of 10.06 square miles (26.06 sq km), of which, 6.35 square miles (16.45 sq km) of it is land and 3.72 square miles (9.63 sq km) of it is water, making it Alaska's 110th smallest by total area.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 256 people, 89 households, and 76 families residing in the city. The population density was 40.3 people per square mile (15.56/kmē), it is Alaska's 111th most densely populated city. There were 106 housing units at an average density of 16.7 per square mile (6.45/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.88 persons, and the average family size was 3.11 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 33.2% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 29.7% from 25 to 44, 26.2% from 45 to 64, and 7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 88.2 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 94.3 females. The median age was 35.6 years, The median age of males and females living in Port Lions City was 35.2 and 37 years respectively.
