Port Isabel City is one of the city of Cameron County, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 4865 as per the Census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 5290, It is the 350th largest by population in the U.S. state of Texas. The city encompasses an area of 2.91 square miles (7.54 square kilometre ), of which, 2.2 square miles (5.7 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.71 square miles (1.84 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 641st largest by size in Texas.
