Port Allegany Borough, Pennsylvania is a borough of the McKean County, Pennsylvania, United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 2355 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 2190, giving it the 554th largest population among Pennsylvania. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.83 square miles (4.74 square kilometre), it is the 423rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2355 people in the borough, organized into 924 households, and 624 families residing in the borough. The population density was 1286 people per square mile (496.53/kmē), making it the 854th most densely populated borough in Pennsylvania.
