Pontoon Beach Village is one of the city of Madison County, Illinois, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 5620. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 6081, giving it the 296th largest population among Illinois. The city comprises an area of 8.46 mi˛ (21.91 sq km), of which, 8.18 square miles (21.19 sq km) of it is land and 0.28 square miles (0.73 sq km) of it is water, it is the 106th largest in terms of geographical size.
