Poneto Town, Wells County, Indiana is a town located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 240. Its population was estimated at 232 in July 2008, It is the 68th smallest in terms of population. The town comprises an area of 0.12 sq mi (0.31 square kilometre), makes it the 32nd smallest by total area in Indiana.
