Ponca City City is a city located in Kay and Osage counties, Oklahoma, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 25919 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 24507, It is Oklahoma's 14th largest by population . The city has a total area of 19.32 square miles (50.04 square kilometre), of which, 18.11 square miles (46.9 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.21 square miles (3.13 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 49th largest by size in Oklahoma. It is ranks 17 in the size of its inland waterways in Oklahoma.
