Polkville City is one of the city of Cleveland County, North Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 535. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 535, It is the 167th smallest by population in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It has total area of 1.89 sq mi (4.9 square kilometre), giving it the 391st largest by total area among North Carolina.
