Polk City Town is one of the town of Polk County, Florida, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 1516 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 1572, making it the 217th least populous in Florida. The town comprises an area of 0.77 square miles (1.99 sq km), making it Florida's 119th smallest by total area.
