Polk Borough is a United States borough located in the Venango County, Pennsylvania, United States. The borough has a population of 1031 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 995, making it the 870th most populous in Pennsylvania. The borough spans an area of 1.95 mi˛ (5.05 square kilometre), of which, 1.94 square miles (5.02 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 391st largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1031 people in the borough, organized into 196 households, and 127 families residing in the borough. The population density was 531 people per square mile (205.02/km˛), giving it the 232nd least densely populated borough among the Pennsylvania. There were 209 housing units at an average density of 107.7 per square mile (41.58/km˛). It has an average household size was 2.34 persons, and the average family size was 2.95 persons. The population's age distribution was 11.6% under the age of 18, 3.2% from 18 to 24, 31% from 25 to 44, 37.1% from 45 to 64, and 17.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 102.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.8 males. The median age of the borough's population was 46.5 years, The median age of males was 44.2 years, for females the median age was 48.4 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 992 White, 28 Black or African American, 2 American Indian, 3 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 2 from two or more races and 4 Ohter races.
