Point Pleasant City is one of the city of Mason County, West Virginia, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. Point Pleasant City had an official population of 4637 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 4451, It is the 32nd most populous in the U.S. state of West Virginia. The city extends throughout a territory of 3.08 square miles (7.98 kmē ), of which, 2.38 square miles (6.16 kmē) of it is land and 0.7 square miles (1.81 kmē) of it is water, it is the 64th largest by area in the U.S. state of West Virginia. It is ranks ninth in the size of its inland waterways in West Virginia.
