Point Hope City is a city in the North Slope Borough, Alaska, United States. In 2000, the population was 757. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 674, making it the 72nd most populous in Alaska. The city spans an area of 6.41 square miles (16.6 square kilometre), of which, 6.34 square miles (16.42 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 82nd smallest by size in Alaska.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 757 residents, 186 households, and 152 families in the city. The population density was 119.4 people per square mile (46.1/kmē), giving it the 58th most densely populated city among the Alaska. There were 215 housing units at an average density of 33.9 per square mile (13.09/kmē). The average household size was 4.07 and the average family size was 4.5.
