Pocola Town is a one of the Le Flore County, Oklahoma, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 3994 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 4464, making it the 85th most populous in Oklahoma. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 30.5 mi˛ (78.99 square kilometre), of which, 30.29 square miles (78.45 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 25th largest by total area among Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3994 people in the town, organized into 1508 households, and 1165 families residing in the town. The population density was 131.9 people per square mile (50.93/km˛), it is the 154th least populated town in terms of population density. There were 1598 housing units at an average density of 52.8 per square mile (20.39/km˛). The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 2.98.
