Plover City is one of the city of Pocahontas County, Iowa, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 95. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 84, making it the 94th least populous in Iowa. It is spread over 0.54 sq mi (1.4 square kilometre), it is the 614th largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
