Pleasanton City is a city in the Alameda County, California, United States. Pleasanton City had an official population of 63654 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 66828, It is the 104th largest by population in the U.S. state of California. Its area is just over 21.83 mi˛ (56.54 square kilometre), of which, 21.67 square miles (56.13 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 137th largest in terms of geographical size.
