Plaza City is a city located in Mountrail County, North Dakota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 167 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 155, It is 195th most populous in North Dakota. It has total area of 1.14 square miles (2.95 square kilometre), of which, 1.12 square miles (2.9 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 86th largest by area in the U.S. state of North Dakota.
