Platinum City is a one of the Bethel Census Area, Alaska, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 41. In July 2008, its estimated population was 41, giving it the 46th smallest population among Alaska. It has total area of 44.7 sq mi (115.77 kmē), of which, 44.63 square miles (115.59 kmē) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 124th largest by total area among Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 41 people, 17 households, and 10 families living in the city. The population density was 0.9 people per square mile (0.35/kmē), making its Alaska's 46th least densely populated city.
