Plantation City is a city in the Broward County, Florida, United States. Plantation City had an official population of 82934 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 83628, It is the 18th largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 21.93 square miles (56.8 sq km ), of which, 21.74 square miles (56.31 sq km) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 sq km) of it is water, it is the 77th largest in terms of geographical size.
