Plant City City is one of the city of Hillsborough County, Florida, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. Plant City City had an official population of 29915 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 32761, It is the 93rd largest in terms of population. It has total area of 22.75 sq mi (58.92 square kilometre), of which, 22.63 square miles (58.61 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 73rd largest by total area in Florida.

The racial makeup of the city was 21440 White, 4833 Black or African American, 111 American Indian, 267 Asian, 13 Native Hawaiian, 528 from two or more races and 2723 Ohter races.
