Plain City Village is a city located in Madison and Union counties, Ohio, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 2832 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 3543, It is the 393rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Ohio. It has total area of 1.81 sq mi (4.69 square kilometre), makes it the 444th largest by total area in Ohio.
