Pitman Borough is one of the borough of Gloucester County, New Jersey, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The borough has a population of 9331 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 9206 in July 2008, It is New Jersey's 177th largest by population . The borough comprises an area of 2.32 sq mi (6.01 sq km), of which, 2.29 square miles (5.93 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 260th largest in terms of geographical size.
