Pipestone County is a county located in the United States of Minnesota. It is home to over 9895 people (2000 census). Its population was estimated at 9395 in July 2008, It is 15th least populous county in Minnesota. The county comprises an area of 466.15 square miles (1207.32 square kilometre), of which, 465.89 square miles (1206.65 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.26 square miles (0.67 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 15th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
