Piperton City is a United States city located in the Fayette County, Tennessee, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 589 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 1246 in July 2008, It is 76th least populous in Tennessee. The city extends throughout a territory of 9.79 miē (25.36 kmē ), of which, 9.76 square miles (25.28 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 89th largest by total area among Tennessee.
