Pine Beach Borough is one of the borough of Ocean County, New Jersey, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The borough has a population of 1950 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2078, It is the 86th least populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough encompasses an area of 0.63 sq mi (1.63 square kilometre ), of which, 0.62 square miles (1.61 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 34th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1950 people in the borough, organized into 457 households, and 284 families residing in the borough. The population density was 3130.3 people per square mile (1208.62/kmē), it is New Jersey's 228th most densely populated borough. There were 872 housing units at an average density of 1406.5 per square mile (543.05/kmē). The average household size was 2.54 people, and the average family size was 3.01 people. In the borough Age distribution was 22.7% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 27.2% from 25 to 44, 27.1% from 45 to 64, and 17.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.7 males. The median age is 41.6 years, the median age of male residents at 40.4 and the median age of female residents at 42.8. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 98.41% White, 0.26% Black or African American, 0.05% American Indian, 0.62% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 0.46% from two or more races and 0.21% Other races.
